Rescanning the SCSI bus

The SCSI bus may be rescanned with a system reboot, or with a

removal and reinsertion of the modular driver. In either case, all I/O

must be stopped and all other mounted file systems must be

unmounted before rebooting or removing the modular driver.

If the SCSI bus is not rescanned or the Unisphere/Navisphere Agent

service not stopped, attempts to make a new filesystem with

mkfs on

the newly created partition will fail.
