Overview

Emulex

The Emulex 10GbE Virtual Fabric Adapter Advanced for IBM® BladeCenter®

and Emulex 10GbE Virtual Fabric Advanced Upgrade for IBM BladeCenter are

enhancements to the existing Virtual Fabric portfolio. They allow IBM clients to

simplify their I/O infrastructure, by reducing the number of switches needed inside

the chassis. Existing Virtual Fabric clients can now deploy iSCSI via the new upgrade

key, while new Virtual Fabric clients can implement iSCSI with the new Emulex

10GbE Virtual Fabric Adapter Advanced.

• Monitor, keyboard, and mouse for setup.

• Network switch module.

• Boot device, such as on-board SSD or network storage device.

• Rack and appropriate PDUs and main power distribution.
